The website describes what we do. A signed agreement governs each project, and the software has its own Terms of Service.

These terms cover the aptapilot.com website. The Launcher, the desktop tools and AptaPilot accounts are covered by the Terms of Service on the portal.
The site describes services and software. It is not an offer. A project starts only when a service agreement is signed, and where the agreement and this site differ, the agreement governs. Timelines, deliverables and examples on the site describe typical projects, not a commitment for yours.
Rescue and Characterize are computational. Their output is a ranked shortlist or a characterisation report: candidates to synthesise and test, not validated binders. Binding is established by an assay, yours or the one agreed for a Discovery project. Benchmark figures on the site are reported with their denominators and limits on the Validation & Methods page and should be read with them.
AptaPilot is research software and a research service. Neither is a medical device, and neither is for clinical, diagnostic or therapeutic use.
An NDA is signed before any data moves. How project data and personal information are handled is set out in the privacy notice and in the agreement for your project.
The tools are free for academic and non-commercial research. Companies and contract research organisations need a commercial licence; the options are on the companies page. Use of the software is governed by the Terms of Service.

The site is provided “as is”. We try to keep it accurate and current but do not guarantee it. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from use of the site or reliance on its content. Liability for a commissioned project is as set out in its agreement.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the mandatory protections you have under the law of the country you live in. We may update these terms; the version at the top shows the current one.
